| What makes our CD’s so different?
Jacqueline has been working with children in workshops
for nearly 10 years. She has had the hands on experience.
The CD contains full sound effects for everything. This
allows the children to drift deeper into their imaginations
and deeper into relaxation. They are given the opportunity
to clearly create their own pictures rather than relying
on external things such as television. Most children realise
how much FUN this can be!
Discussion of the story will help both parents at home
and teachers at school to promote harmony, happiness and
to foster positive attitudes. It makes introducing the “Making
Rainbows cards” very easy as it allows a much deeper
understanding of how “Making rainbows” works!
Parents:
• Listen to the story with your children to stay in
touch with “making rainbows”.
• Use the visualisations as positive tools to assist
your children with any everyday problems or issues that arise
as part of a child’s life.
• Great for busy parents to sit with their children
at bedtime for some quality peace & relaxation.
Teachers:
These particular visualisation journey’s are directly
related to assisting children to integrate “making rainbows”
into their everyday lives.
Each meditation is specifically different:
The Magic Room – involves looking
at self and how you have been living. Here children can
wipe their slates clean and choose to be positive &
happy from here on!
The Rainbows End – Doing nice &
positive things for others. Thinking of one person to
do something nice for.
Rainbow Fun – Is simply a fun &
magical visualisation!
To introduce these meditations in your classroom,
here are a few suggestions:
- Llisten to the meditations yourself beforehand.
- Discuss the term "inner eyes" to allow children
to better understand and open their imaginations.
- Discover the best place for children to do these meditations
- heads down on desks is easy and effective.
- Allow children time to discuss what they have experienced
during meditation.
- Follow up artwork - draw/paint what they saw using their
"inner eyes".
These meditations can be a great starting point for language
and art activities or
simply allow the children to enjoy the benefits. For great
results, alternate with silent reading on a daily basis. |
